Accounts Receivable Clerk
The Accounts Receivable Clerk we seek will record payments to customers’ accounts, maintain accounts receivable records, and make collections calls by performing the following duties:
Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers, as requested.
Processes daily customer payments.
Calls and/or mails customers as necessary to collect payment.
Contacts customers to update credit card information.
Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment.
Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks.
Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up.
Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts.
Assists with related special projects, as required.
Bachelor’s degree in with a major in accounting or finance; or 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficient in Excel.
Preferred skill in Intuit QuickBooks Desktop.
