We have a very unique business development internship opportunity with Intel’s Emerging Growth Initiative incubation projects in the Fintech space. This internship will provide valuable work experience across both the technology and financial industries and provide perfect opportunities for practicing innovative thinking while sharpening your business development skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to collaborate with members of the engineering, product and marketing teams across the EGI organization in order to create and validate business models specific to Fintech. To accomplish this goal, the intern group will focus on:
Identifying prospective customers or partner companies
Creating client proposals and contracts
Developing sales pitches
Promoting the business through customer engagements and creative marketing methods
Collaborating with engineering, product, and marketing teams across the organization
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
- You must be pursuing a MBA, MS, or MA in Business, Finance, or a related field while keeping your student status during the whole internship program
3+ years of direct industry experience in Business Development
This is a 4-6 month internship that can be either Full-Time or Part-Time.
This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.
- 3+ years of industry experience in the financial and/or payment industry
