As part of your position on LinkedIn Marketing Solution’s Online Portfolio Sales team, you will help a rapidly growing team better support our clients, better position for continued growth and success, and get a first-hand look at how a sales team can collaborate and succeed. The Portfolio Sales Team is a unique sales team within LinkedIn; it is highly collaborative and actively working to figure out how we can support our business’s growth while enabling our client’s success…all at scale.
During your time with us, you’ll take part in training, outings, and all hands meetings designed to give you avenues in which to meet your peers, executives and get a comprehensive view of LinkedIn. Our summer 2021 internship program will be remote – we will work together to provide you access to leadership and team members from across LinkedIn.
We seek exceptional candidates from a variety of business schools who are highly motivated, have a track record of academic and professional success, are driven to succeed and have enthusiasm and passion for LinkedIn’s professional suite of product s.
Please note that due to business reasons this internship will not be eligible for a full-time role after the completion of your internship.
Analyze, understand, and structure customer needs and opportunities
Deliver insightful summaries of data and provide insights on opportunities
Assist in researching client needs, developing key themes and ultimately applying learnings in a variety of projects
Lead a project that impacts how the team goes to market and supports clients at scale
Partner with marketing and the sales team to develop materials targeted at this team’s specific client base
Build effective relationships with colleagues from marketing, sales operations, insights and other cross-functional partners
Basic Qualifications :
Must be currently enrolled in a full- time, academic program at an accredited college or university to obtain an MBA degree by June of 202 2
Must be returning to school the term following your summer Internship
Preferred Qualifications :
2 + years of pre-MBA experience at a management consulting firm, within a sales organization or within a marketing team or advertising agency
Interest in the advertising and ad tech industry
Interest in sales management and how to scale successful sales efforts
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; strong executive presence
Ability to be part of developing data-driven insights and crafting key takeaways and learnings
Familiarity with sales and marketing strategies and tactics
Strong personal initiative, ability to work autonomously, excellent judgment and sense of humor
Desire to succeed in a demanding, innovative, and entrepreneurial environment
