This position will serve as a Business Analyst providing support to the LyondellBasell Procurement organization through data analysis, process review and use of problem solving skills in order to make recommendations to support staff and management personnel. The position requires execution within a specific area; however the responsibilities will include exposure to various facets of Procurement including Strategic Sourcing, Operational Buying, Procurement Administration and more. The candidate will be supported by key Procurement staff while functioning on an independent basis.
Roles & Responsibilities
Leads and participates on Procurement special projects and SAP system improvements
Maintains intermediate to advanced knowledge of system support tools such as SAP, E-sourcing, Business Intelligence and assists suppliers and internal customers in full utilization of these system tools
Operates with a high degree of knowledge regarding suppliers, products, services, manufacturing, and industry trends
Attends & participates in training in the different areas as specified in the program
Demonstrates the ability to work well in an analytical role or in a team environment
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
Minimum Education Requirements: must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or an equivalent degree from an accredited university
Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater
