The Macquarie Training Program
Today, as commodities continue to underpin the building of our cities, as our global energy needs continue to grow, and with technology changing the world, the projects you’ll work on will empower people to innovate and invest for a better future.
Our training program kicks off with an orientation providing you with the opportunity to learn about the Macquarie business groups across the United States as you meet your fellow analysts and expand your network.
On the desk, you’ll be given meaningful and challenging work. You’ll be encouraged to examine problems from every angle, challenge the status quo and come up with new and innovative ways of progressing our business while being supported by a diverse team. We know success comes from encouraging our people to think differently so regardless of your level, if you have ideas that have merit, we’ll give you the opportunity to develop and test them to see where they can lead.
You will support the CMF Chief Operating Office (COO) in ensuring our business operates efficiently and effectively to meet strategic goals. The team supports the day-to-day operations, provides management with qualitative and quantitative reporting and helps find solutions for operational, commercial and strategic issues facing the business.

Manage the FX and interest rate risks associated with CMF’s trading activities.
Build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders based on respect, trust and collaboration.
Protect CMF from operational risk by actively identifying exposures and seeking to mitigate them.
Provide business analysis to management and stakeholders by generating regular and useful reports.
