We are seeking MBA students for an internship on our IT Portfolio Management team.
IT Portfolio Management
- Learning and understanding the financial workings of both the baseline and discretionary spend of the Technology Services and Resiliency organization. You will work with budget owners, project managers and the financial organization to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the organization
The Impact:
As an MBA Intern in Portfolio Management you will have an impact through the tasks below:

Manage the end-to-end demand management process for incoming project demand.

Obtain rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, project approval and funding, and analysis of portfolio implications and options to facilitate portfolio prioritization.

Facilitate triage and discovery processes for new demand to identify and engage impacted stakeholders.

Manage the ongoing financial review process to ensure continued integrity of the business case and CBA.

Manage expected benefits tracking from initiatives to ensure realization of business value upon implementation of solutions.

Clarity forecasting analysis.
-
Process management of invoicing and accruals, contract maintenance, Ariba and SharePoint approval processes; escalations and problem resolution.

Facilitate and analyze incoming demand to the technology organization by formulating rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates.

Maintain the prioritized project portfolio list with budgeted costs for all projects.

Gathers, prepares, trends, and analyzes project and portfolio performance and project/program effectiveness.

Ensure all projects and tactical enhancements have a business case and that all required documentation is available before prioritization.

Facilitate schedule and resource conflicts, and forecast upcoming project delivery risks and issues for new and existing demand.

Develop and maintain portfolio performance reports and provide support to all customers in identifying key performance metrics and indicators.

Continuously refine and build estimating and impact analysis practice.
The Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an MBA program
-
Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Critical thinking and analysis skills

Ability to multi-task on multiple projects/assignments and meet deadlines

Ability to work collaboratively

Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring work authorization sponsorship, both now and in the future
