The Associate Applications Systems Analyst position is responsible for testing software and participating in functional and technical analysis of secure web-based data collection, storage, integration, and reporting systems. This position requires technical proficiency, broad-based business process knowledge with the experience and expertise to utilize that knowledge to participate in the design and implementation of simple and complex test scenarios for information systems needed.
Analyze/evaluate requirements related to the implementation, modification, or upgrade of software products or the development, enhancement, or modification of in-house application systems.
Consult with departmental management, coworkers-workers, users, Computing Resources, Information Services personnel, and vendors for the most efficient resolution to problems.
Perform documentation functions including creation and maintenance of production documentation on assigned systems, recovery instructions, and production turnover documents.
Test Case Management
Consult with User Partners on business specifications; design new systems/programs; design enhancements to existing systems/programs; write test cases for new systems/programs or modification of existing systems/programs
Perform on-call duties as required with the EMR staff and provide assistance, as needed, to other staff members.
