The US-SMC Sales Excellence Lead is a critical role designed to operationalize strategy, run the business, drive growth and accelerate transformation through operational excellence, change management and sales leadership. It is a leadership and trusted strategic advisor role that delivers business insights to expose opportunity, drive efficiency, and enable business speed and agility in order to yield increased revenue and market share.
By leading and coaching day-to-day business operations, you will interact and align with multiple stakeholders including regional and district leadership teams as well as US and WW sales, marketing, services, and partner teams. The role will need to land sales capabilities and deliver global standards. You will provide coaching, drive priorities and collaborate with the sales teams to run the business. You will be a key leader in the establishment of team’s sales operations vision, operating norms and alignment with corporate and WW sales, marketing, and services groups.
Run Regional Sales Operations ROB and Programs.
Land and Mainstream Sales Operations Initiatives and Priorities into the Field. (e.g. Role Based Accountabilities)
Drive Pipeline Health and Forecast Predictability.
Land Segmentation and Sales Model.
Launch Territory Planning and Account Planning Rhythm, Quality and Review.
Provide Field Expertise on Mid-Term Account Management Scenarios.
Generate business insights based on internal BI and competitive, market, and industry reports.
Drive Growth Planning initiatives by identifying levers and metrics that will best track and accelerate progress toward goal achievement.
Drive and Coach Growth, Upsell, Cross-sell and Deal Coaching.
Lead and manage deployment and adoption strategies that ensures better customer experience, long term customer lifecycle and annuity, and incremental revenue opportunities.
Serve as Voice of the Field for feeding improvements to operational reporting, and process best practices back to HQ/Corporate.
Ability to think strategically and execute across a diverse stakeholder set.
5+ years of knowledge and experience in broad-based business management.
5+ years of Sales experience, with a keen understanding of sales processes and reporting.
A passion for systems and processes that are effective and run efficiently.
Organizational agility and attributes of leadership.
Demonstrated outstanding competencies around Influencing for Impact, Collaboration, Drive for Results, Judgment, Adaptability and Customer Focus.
Bachelor’s Degree , MBA or Master’s Degree preferred in Economics, Finance, Administration, Organizational Management, or Operations Management field or equivalent work experience preferred.
