Opportunity
This position assists the Human Resources (HR) Department with daily operations to include but not limited to: HR department administrative support, HR system data entry, maintenance of HR files and organizational charts, and support for employee recognition, security badges, onboarding and off boarding.
Responsibilities

Provide professional and timely customer service support to internal and external customers.

Perform general administrative support for the Human Resources team including mail sorting, preparation of correspondence, distributing faxes, creation and maintenance of forms, annual collection of forms.

Maintain organization of personnel files, including generating new hire files, timely filing, accurate records retention and document disposal.
Skills & Knowledge
Must have the ability to understand and explain benefit and insurance related concepts. Proven proficiency using computers, specifically MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook). Proven proficiency performing research using the internet and other resources. Keyboarding speed of 55 wpm and data entry skills; accuracy is essential. Knowledge of modern principles and practices of HR management. Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proven ability to effectively communicate, verbally & in writing, with all levels of staff personnel, outside agencies, and the general public. Cultural diversity awareness, sensitivity, and competency, including the ability to successfully work with and relate to individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Ability to use office equipment, including computer, printer, scanner, fax machine, copier, and multi-line telephone. Ability to read, understand, and apply administrative policies and procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- 2 years: Two years administrative and/or office experience required. One year experience working in Human Resources with exposure to HR systems, benefit administration, payroll, or other foundational HR functions is preferred.
