Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class product management organization and continues to look for top-notch product managers to expand the team. As a SaaS & Data Protection product manager at Palo Alto Networks, you will join a team responsible for driving our Cloud Applications and Data security product strategy, including SaaS, IaaS, Network and Endpoint Data Protection.

The ideal candidate would be able to drive strategy, partner with engineering to deliver new Cloud Applications and Data Security solutions, collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute go to market strategies, act as a thought leader at the industry level, evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally. You will be involved with the Cloud Applications and Data Security features throughout all stages of lifecycle (conception, definition, development, release and post-release activities), managing strategic planning, feature selection and tactical activities.

Your Impact:

  • Responsibility for the Cloud Application and Data Security feature set

  • Feature prioritization and trade off decision making

  • Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, product strategy, and product positioning

  • Ability to work effectively with all areas of the organization, from engineering to sales

  • Customer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering

  • Provide support to other departments for your feature set

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, other engineering/technical degree

  • MBA highly desirable

  • Minimum 3 years in product management or technical expertise in the cloud or networking space required

  • Domain expertise in cybersecurity, cloud computing or enterprise applications highly desirable

  • Good knowledge of scalable cloud services

  • Strong desire to take ownership of the full product life cycle

  • Drive to design something new, innovative, and disruptive

  • Hands-on nature with very strong interest in new technology products

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Excellent people and team collaboration skills

  • Demonstrable track record of success
