Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Centers (PHC), founded in 1972, has been in the forefront in the provision of quality health care to the St. Louis metropolitan area for over 40 years. Summary: In this role you will have responsibility for the sourcing, selection, job offer, and assisting with the clinical services process within a complete life-cycle recruiting process. You will interact with candidates and our clinical managers via in-person, phone and electronic correspondence. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. Conduct phone and/or video interviews with qualified candidates, utilizing a selection process and tools as directed. You will be responsible for ensuring that all candidates meet minimum qualifications. Expediting and ensuring all new leads, candidate follow-up, and internal customer follow-up are executed with priority. . Manage the candidate processes such as initiating background screening services through a third-party. Assist in coordination of hiring events Ensure compliance with all federal/state hiring laws and regulations. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; assists with writing and placing advertisements. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains company organization charts and employee personnel listings. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Education and/or Experience: A bachelor’s degree and one (1) to three (3) years of recruiting experience, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus. Prior demonstrated experience using computer programs such as including Microsoft Office 365, Smartsheet, internet search and social media required. ADP Workforce Now experience preferred. Ability to listen, type, and accurately capture information simultaneously required.
