As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and executing the Sunrise Ridge marketing and advertising activities for our franchised brands: Plato’s Closet™, Once Upon a Child™ and Style Encore™
Defining the overall marketing strategy and budgets, and obtaining input and approval from the President, CEO and District Manager.
Conducting daily social media marketing on Facebook and Instagram: reviewing posts made by stores, responding to customer comments / issues online, making your own posts using our franchiser, Winmark’s, material and self-generated content including social squares, and selecting and boosting posts per the agreed budget, with the objective of increasing our Yelp, Google and other search engine ratings, and increasing customer counts in our stores. We expect a minimum of five posts per day per store, and you will monitor individual store performance against that requirement. You will analyze and report results monthly at the Manager Meeting and to the President.
Conducting the Snapchat filter campaigns, by identifying future events where our customer demographic will attend, such as high school sports, concerts, dances/homecoming/prom and social events such as the Gay Pride Parade. You will develop appropriate filters, geofences, and placement within our budget. The objective of this campaign is to increase brand awareness and customer counts in our stores. You will monitor results and report monthly to the President.
Conducting online marketing using Google Adwords, Site Scout, and similar ad placement platforms. You may also place ads on YouTube. You will use Winmark, J Miller Marketing, and self-generated content, and you will monitor results, adjust words and budgets, and report monthly to the President.
Conducting the monthly email campaigns using Constant Contact, and suggested content from Winmark, as well as additional content generated by you and/or J Miller Marketing, to provide two emails per month per store. You will also manage the database of email addresses, adding to it each month from the email addresses captured in the store, and deleting bounce or non-responsive email addresses.
Update the store websites with events and other pertinent information.
Monitoring and using FiveStars loyalty system to encourage repeat business among our customers. You will monitor loyalty credits to avoid potential fraudulent use. You will also conduct periodic communication campaigns using the FiveStars customer list to inform our customers of special promotions and sales events. You will monitor results and report monthly to the Manager Meeting and to the President.
Monitoring budgets, ad performance and liaising with J Miller Marketing, our ad agency. They place mass media, Pandora and Spotify streaming radio, and similar media. They also provide services to the Plato’s Closet ad coop. You will report results and budget monthly to the President.
Providing materials for in-store marketing, such as bag stuffers, receipt staplers and posters and signs. You will use Winmark, J Miller Marketing, and your self-generated content, and will procure items from our third-party printers. You will report monthly on all invoices and costs.
Receiving calls from customers at our office, and dealing with issues they may have had. This includes deciding on passing the customer on to the CEO or District Manager to resolve their issue. You will also track customer comments online, and report them monthly to the Manager Meeting.
Maintaining and organizing our calendar of promotions and sales events for coordination with store operations and J Miller Marketing.
