Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age (remote intern role)
- Must be enrolled at university of houston as a student
- Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Must maintain good academic and disciplinary standing
- Strong understanding of social media platforms: Proficiency in using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube etc
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Ability to craft engaging and informative content
- Creative and innovative thinking: Capacity to generate fresh and interesting ideas
- Knowledge of social media analytics: Understanding of tools like Google Analytics, Monday, or Facebook Meta Business Suite to track and analyze performance
- Understanding of SEO and content marketing: Knowledge of optimizing content for search engines and attracting the target audience
- Location: Remote

Responsibilities
- The Part-Time Intern, Social Media and Digital Marketing, primarily working closely with the Marketing director and Chief Strategy officer.
- This role will offer valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing, focusing on social media content creation and management
- The intern will contribute to the departments overall goals by assisting with various tasks related to social media content planning, outreach, and marketing
- Real-world experience in sports focused digital marketing and sales
- The intern will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the marketings success
- Assists with managing the social media calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery
- Acts as a communications liaison with the RP TEAM content creator program, scheduling meetings, and coordinating correspondence
- Contributes to posting approved content onto our various platforms (e.g., tik tok ,Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)in a timely and engaging manner
- Collaborates with our CSO on gathering newsworthy content to keep up with news and ensure our social media presence is informative and relevant
