Renesas Electronics America is a market leader in timing products. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented product marketer for our cloud and compute product line.
Your everyday work will have an impact on customer relationships, winning designs across entire product portfolio and product planning. You’ll be part of the product line management team and involved in the entire life of the product portfolio.
What you’ll learn-
Top level view of hardware industry development from initial concept all the way to end of life
Semiconductor product development and real world trade-offs
In-depth understanding of timing products and how they are being implemented
Market sense and industry trends in the world of computing.
What you’ll do-
Become familiar with product features and understand the value proposition of these features to an electrical system
Study electrical systems, identify system and market trends. Using this information to form a product roadmap
Work with engineering team on trade-offs to achieve a realizable technical specification
Validate key cloud customer acceptance of launched product and use customer feedback to drive product innovations
Respond to sales and customer inquiries on product pricing, schedule, forecast, lifetime and technical requests
Collaborate with corporate marketing team on product landing pages, sell-sheet, blogs and other form of sales enablement tools
Track product financial metrics including forecast, revenue, and gross margin
Product life cycle management – management of product life cycle issues such as Product Change Notices and ultimately Product Discontinuation Notices
Recent graduate or working on BS/MS with a focus in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or MBA candidate with a technical background
Strong attention to details, project management and organization skills, ability to manage competing priorities
Basic understanding of phase-locked loop(PLL), data converters or other analog/mixed signal building blocks
Communication system, or Server, PC, embedded computing exposure is a nice-to-have
BS/MS in an engineering discipline (can be actively working on it rather than graduated)
