About Rosales Communications: 

Rosales Communications provides clients with the services and skills they need to develop highly effective strategies and consumer-centered messages designed to engage and inform audiences and inspire them to take action. We achieve this through our experienced and diverse staff, community knowledge, dedicated commitment in service and by establishing long-term working relationships.

   We are a registered Conservation Service Provider (CSP) with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. We can advise an Electric distribution company (EDC) and provide consultation, design, administration or management services to an EDC related to the EDC’s energy efficiency and conservation plan. In this capacity we can assist in community outreach on energy related information across Pennsylvania. RC has extensive and proven experience in planning and coordinating hundreds of community outreach and educational programs locally, statewide and nationally. RC has also developed and/or translated curricula, PowerPoint presentations and workshop materials.

Summary of Principal Responsibilities:

We are looking for a smart and hardworking individual that is interested in working for a small company and learning about entrepreneurship and how to run your own business. We are not a large firm. The applicant will work primarily with one manager and take on any office duties needed. Some may be related to marketing and some may be administrative in nature. There is also a creative aspect involved where the applicant will have to edit materials, art or create, write or design materials. Small business owners wear many hats. And this position reflects our commitment you growing our business by taking new roles and responsibilities and sometimes learning as we go. This job is home-based, as COVID-19 has made us close our offices. There may be times when you have to pick up materials in Philadelphia as needed. 

 

All of the work will be based in Philadelphia, there is no travel involved. And if COVID-19 mitigation measures subside, there will be ample opportunities to addition work at in person events on weekend at a different rate. 

 

Over the course of the internship, the intern will learn how small business work and gain experience in the capabilities we have. 

 

 

Requirements:

   Office Skills: 

   Excellent writing skills

   Experience in: Office, Excel, Powerpoint, GSuite, Email

   Knowledgable at using a laptop and computer 

   Navigating the internet for research and learning purposes

   Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to use the phone to call and converse with stakeholders

   Able to converse with the public with ease

   Be comfortable talking to people

   Very Organized

   Punctual

   Will to do manual work such as delivering materials to clients, loading promotional materials, setting up table, displays and materials.

   Driving to specified locations

 

 Qualifications:

   High Energy

   Self starting, self motivated and hard working

   Curious and asks questions about processes without prompting

   Kind and High Emotional intelligence

   Willing to work with adults with developments disabilities being kind to them.

   Willing to work with children

   Willing to work with seniors

   Committed to Energy Efficiency, Energy Conservation and Environmental Issues is a plus.

   Care about people and want to make a difference in the world

   Being mindful and careful with equipment provided

Being able to maintain focus on the task at hand and not get distracted. 

 

Other Skills (not required but recommended):

   Design experience in Adobe products or similar applications

   Other Web design experience

   Driving and having your own car with a valid license

   Fluent in other languages
