About the team

The SAP Consumer Industries team drives our industry leading Solution Management strategies, portfolio, partner ecosystem, go to market, enablement, and customer success activities for 5 key industries for SAP: Retail, Consumer Products and Agribusiness, Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Wholesale Distribution. We have the privilege of working with someof the world’s best known brands and companies, as well as those that are up and coming and not yet famous. Along the way, we work well with our product development, services, marketing, sales and presales, and Industry Value teams to showcase the power of SAP solutions and feature the benefits our customers have attained through our partnerships.

What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Consumer Industries Intern – Go to Market Impact

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Expected start date April 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021

In this role, you’ll:

  • The Consumer Industries Intern – Go to Market Impact will work with our Solution Management teams to drive activities across our portfolio. You will have primary responsibility to work within a particular industry (for example, fashion, wholesale, or consumer products) to help us deliver the next generation of software and technology to help make our customers’ businesses more impactful.

  • Along the way, you will do real, measurable work that has an impact (we have a lot of work to do together!) and will be challenged to bring your best ideas and creativity every day. We will consider you a member of the team and value your individual ideas and contributions.

  • You could be called upon to provide in depth competitive analyses, new market and regional penetration strategies, development of key assets and materials which will be used in enablement for our sales account teams, and creative writing of customer win stories and impact narratives. Past interns have also hosted our regular global all hands calls and worked with our global teams to build out content.

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Current college or university student (or recent college graduate) with a focus on business, supply chain, management information systems or MBA.

  • Passion for teamwork, heavy focus on customer success, creative drive and energy

  • Experience with writing, communication, and research skills. Presentation skills a plus.

  • Demonstrated high achiever.

  • Additional language skills a plus.
