The Analytics and Special Projects Lead will identify and execute upon key initiatives to improve day-to-day business operations, support the CEO’s decision making with key financial statement and business operations analyses, and help set-up a long-term technology infrastructure.
The position will work in close partnership with the CEO, CTO, Vice President of Operations, and company’s private equity partners on all aspects of the business. The candidate must be analytical, capable of multitasking, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment. Communication and the ability to prioritize is of the utmost importance. Microsoft Office Proficiency (especially Excel and PowerPoint) will be required and previous experience with a data visualization software such as Tableau or PowerBI is a plus (but not required). Familiarity with accounting concepts and financial statements is also viewed positively.
The role will be for at least two years to see through to completion a series of previously identified key initiatives. The right candidate will have career progression opportunities after displaying the necessary skills and traits to succeed. The position is a net new position to the company and will be filled as soon as the right candidate is found.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· College degree; undergraduate business with a concentration in accounting / finance preferred
· Substantive internship and/or work experience
· Proven ability with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Outlook
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to interact with C-Suite Executives as well as field level personnel
