Corporate Development – M&A Intern
Join our team as an intern and you’ll get hands on with real projects from day one – learning all about the industry and gaining an insight into life at Stewart. This role reports into our M&A Corporate Development management team and will have opportunities to work with members of other Finance operational functions and various business stakeholders. The scope of the role includes working with Leadership across the organization and teams to provide support for acquisition due diligence, overall integration strategy and governance processes, and coordination of performance reviews for acquired companies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Actively partner with the cross-functional acquisition project teams to gain knowledge of Stewart, the various groups across the organization and the functions they serve to support the overall success of Stewart
· Assist M&A Corporate Development management team and business leads, including Company executives, in deal vetting and valuation of potential acquirees
· Provide recommendations to improve the daily management of M&A processes and projects
· Provide oversight and guidance to projects of high importance
· Maintain detailed tracking of in-process deals and assist deal teams in performing diligence and integration planning
· Assist in development and population of various reports and analysis for distribution to internal leadership
· Assist leadership in ad hoc projects to support various internal initiatives and non-recurring projects as needed
· Performs other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have an eye for continually seeking to enhance a process or approach, while successfully while delivering on assigned projects
• Be adept at handling a changing workload and high volume of information
• Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s level degree program
• Be able to fulfill the duties of the role in either an in-person or remote environment for the duration of your internship (locations and format may vary)
• Be available to complete the entire internship program as defined by the communicated program start and end dates
• Be fluent in oral and written English and be eligible to legally work in the country in which you are applying, without company sponsorship or time restriction
