The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia serves eastern and central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or recent College graduate student for a summer internship in the Bank’s Research department. Students majoring in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or Information Design will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities:Designing and producing graphics, laying out type and then prepping files for print for Research Department publications, primarily Economic Insights.The intern may also work on layout and production of any Research publications and products.Support work for Economic Insights for the web.Organize, tag, cleanup and document files.Required Skills: Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, most importantly InDesign, Illustrator, and BridgeExperience in graphic or visual communications design, print and digitalExperience working in a PC/non-Mac environmentExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.Exercise good judgment on creativity.Excellent attention to detailExcellent organizational skills.Flexible and able to effectively plan and manage one’s own time to work on multiple projects.Other Requirement:Background investigations including drug testing are required for all new hires as a condition of employment, after the job offer is made.
