Responsibilities

Execute quantitative review of key variables used in modeling credit risk and calculating capital

Complete data analysis and build statistical models through hands-on assignments and projects

Create new reporting capabilities in SAS and python

Review analysis and challenge assumptions and techniques
-
Communicate findings and recommendations to a variety of audiences
Basic qualifications
- Pursuing a master’s level degree
Preferred qualifications

Pursuing a master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Financial Mathematics or related quantitative discipline.

Experience coding in various languages and software packages (SAS, Python, C++, Java) to explore data and perform analytical analysis on large, disparate and complex data

Experience utilizing big data for analytics purposes (Hadoop, Datalake, Pyspark)

Preferred experience and expertise in quantitative analysis with large data sets within the finance or banking industries

Effective written and verbal communication skills within a business context

Ability to think and work independently with a professional demeanor and receive dynamic on-the-job training
