U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation, the tax credit finance and community lending division at U.S. Bank, facilitates tax equity investments across federal and state programs to finance affordable housing, community and economic development, and renewable energy projects.
Assist Syndication Business Development team with all aspects of executing a sales strategy to secure tax equity commitments from existing and new investors
Help structure transactions to be both marketable and compliant with all tax, legal, and regulatory considerations
Create and update marketing materials and data sets to support sales strategy
Develop new research methods and tools to expand investor base
Collaborate with other areas of the business line including Originations, Project and Fund Management, Accounting, Finance, Legal
Pursuing a master’s level degree
Pursuing a master’s degree in business, economics, public policy or another relevant field
Three or more years of experience in financial services and/or real estate
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to think and work independently within a professional setting
Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Flexibility to work within a multi-discipline team and receive dynamic on-the-job training
Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Experience using Salesforce
Understanding of finance and accounting and tax accounting
