Internship opportunity with a small nonprofit working in the counter-Human Trafficking space. This opportunity will be a great chance for the right candidate to use their social media knowledge for the forces of good!
This is your chance to add real value and help make a difference in the fight against human trafficking while gaining experience and knowledge in the following areas: counter-human trafficking; non-profit programs, strategy, and project management. You will have shared responsibility for our weekly social media posts and there will be other projects to work on (and even lead!) in one or more of the following subject matters: content strategy, branding, prevention education curriculum, and fundraising.
While we are physically located in and around the NYC metro area, this is a 100% remote position so you can be anywhere–you just have to want to fight human trafficking!
If there is an arrangement with your school to get academic credit for internships then we can see if we can comply with the requirements. Just FYI, for our records we will need a statement from your college/university attesting that you are a current student there whose course of instruction leads to a degree, diploma or certificate.
