Watts is looking for an innovative Internal Audit Intern that will support you will support audit?functions with?audit?team support and gain insight into risk management through exposure to a variety of?audit?assignments (i.e., participating in control interviews/walkthroughs, preparing?audit?narratives, performing?audit?testing, summarizing?audit?results, etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Assist in planning, preparation and execution of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing and internal audit engagements under supervision of audit staff.
Participate in audit projects at domestic and international locations.
Follow established standards to document workpapers in support of engagements.
Participate in interviews of key control and process owners.
Verify adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, applicable regulations and laws.
Document audit findings and formulate basic recommendations for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of audit reports.
Undergraduate student currently pursuing degree in Business Administration/ Finance/ Accounting
No direct reports.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S., and not require sponsorship now or in the future? ?
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
Ability to multi-task is essential
Strong academic aptitude and well-developed analytical problem-solving skills
Demonstrated success in completing team projects and working in a team environment
