You will be working closely with different members of the EandC team such that you should have developed a good understanding of the inner workings of an effective corporate compliance program, in theory and in practice. You may have opportunities to get involved in other areas of the Westinghouse Law Department e.g., corporate law, labor and employment, intellectual property, privacy, or commercial law, etc. We have a dynamic team, collaborative and inclusive culture that will enable our interns in exploring different areas of compliance and get a good feel for what it is like to work in a corporate environment.Some but not all projects that the intern may be asked to support include the following:Compliance risk assessmentGlobal internal investigations programGlobal required compliance training initiativesGlobal Anti-Bribery and Corruption ProgramGlobal Intermediary ProgramGlobal Compliance Liaison ProgramConflict of Interest processIn addition, intern will be asked to provide research (including legal research), prepare informational presentations based on their research and benchmarking information for various processes and projects of the Global compliance program.
