The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving lead generation and conversion through all digital mediums. Examples include, but are not limited to, email marketing campaigns, web functionality, SEO optimization, lead generation and qualification. This also includes being the initial point of contact of customer and lead inquiries through our digital mediums and ensuring the lead and opportunity processes are optimized and managed to effectively route leads internally for follow up.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Execute email marketing campaigns based on the needs of the Market Development team Ensure branding, messaging, and aesthetics are aligned with our brand essence and value proposition
Execute and monitor progress of active campaigns and report out results quarterly
Develop new campaign types and processes to recover lost opportunities or uncover new opportunities at existing or new accounts
Drive lead generation and conversion across all digital and physical platforms Manage and optimize the process for converting prospects to leads and ensuring follow up is properly being routed and managed to drive lead conversion
Ensure all digital mediums are effectively capturing and routing potential leads internally so that response time can be minimized and opportunities can be uncovered
Support trade show presence and lead capture – ensure leads are captured and a follow up is completed quickly
Initial point of contact for all external inquiries; qualifies leads and routes them internally once vetted
Enhance our external brand presence through all digital and physical mediums as well as ensuring all content is consistent with our brand Work with Market development team to generate and promote content to improve SEO
Work with external designers to generate physical or digital branded materials
Enhance our Social media presence by gathering and generating content, and posting relevant content on social media platforms
Continuously improve website functionality, aesthetics, and SEO, and ensure process is in place for routing website inquiries quickly internally
Support customer service, marketing, and sales as needed to increase functionality and service to customers across all digital mediums
Assist Management with special projects, as assigned.
Perform duties in a manner that protects personal safety as well as the safety of all personnel on site. Whenever appropriate, promptly report Safety, Health or Environmental incidents or issues to management so the situation can be corrected. Attend Monthly Safety meetings to help prevent off-site and job accidents.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
B.A./B.S. degree in marketing, communications, business, chemistry or engineering. Other degrees may be considered if candidate also has directly relevant experience.
5 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably in the chemicals industry, are required in order to be able to effectively create the marketing messaging
Extremely good collaborator across functions, willing to support other functions and manage multiple stakeholders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
Strong organizational skills and ability to stay organized on multiple projects
Strong computer skills and comfort using CRM tools. Experience using Salesforce, Pardot, or other similar marketing or CRM tools is a plus.
