Second Day’s summer application for the Impact Fellowship is officially OPEN! We are proud to announce for the first time we are not exclusively serving college seniors; we are opening up the fellowship to college students, grad students, and recent grads/young professionals.
Impact Fellows will get matched to paid internships at a nonprofit or social enterprise, and also receive regular professional development training and job search coaching. This combination of structured learning, professional growth, deep mentorship, and community support is powerful for anyone who wants to build a career working in social change. We want to not only raise awareness that it IS possible to do good for the world and do well for yourself, but create more equitable hiring practices through providing paid internship matching, career coaching, and industry knowledge. We’ve served 200+ students from 40+ colleges and universities, over 75% of whom successfully launched careers at mission-driven employers.
