Ethics Case Competition Judging

We invite you to meet the newest Bauer talent!

Participating as a judge helps prepare students to hone their professionalism and presentation skills.

Over 800 students will participate in the competition in teams of eight to present as though they were ethics consultants focusing on an ethical issue of social media. As a judge, you will be listening to multiple groups present their research and then be able to ask questions to clarify their thoughts and recommendations. You will see one team every 30 minutes.  Students will present for 10 minutes, 10 minutes for Q&A and feedback, and 10 minutes to take notes, grade between presentations, and have a quick break before the next group. Your feedback and scoring will directly correlate with the team project grade.

Before judging, you will receive messaging, including copies of your teams’ presentations, executive summaries, and an explanation of the judging process.

We will provide lunch and parking validation for all of our judges.

Fall Semester Judging Sign-ups launch around October 1st, and Spring Semester Judging Sign-ups around March 1st.
