Jamie Belinne
Associate Dean of Career and Industry Engagement
Jamie Belinne is the Associate Dean for Career and Industry Engagement at the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston’s Rockwell Career Center. Prior to that, she managed Recruiting and Staffing at The University of Texas at Austin. Earlier at UT, she built McCombs’ first dedicated MBA Career Services division.
She has also worked in career services at Tulane’s Freeman School of Business and at LSU. She is a founding member and Board member of the international MBA Career Services and Employers Alliance. She is the winner of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) 2012 Professional Change Maker Award for her initiatives around experiential education in large classes and the winner of the 2013 NACE Innovation Excellence Award in Diversity Programming for her e-book. She has worked with organizations around the country on inter-generational management issues and productivity improvement through leveraging diverse, interpersonal styles.
She was a member of Team USA 2009 for the ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships and Team USA 2011 for ITU Duathlon World Championships. She is an Ironman, an RRCA Certified Run Coach and a mother of two.

Director, Undergraduate Career Counseling
Troy Hopkins, JD, PHR, SHRM-CP is the Director of Undergraduate Career Counseling at the Rockwell Career Center and the Co-Instructor of BUSI 3302, Connecting Bauer to Business.
Troy has been with the Bauer College since 2006 and the University of Houston since 2003. Troy has worked at Texas universities since 1997, starting at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. Troy earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston while working full-time at Bauer College. Troy has earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM-CP certifications and is a member of the Texas State Bar.
Megan Bauml
Assistant Director, Undergraduate Career Services
Megan is the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Career Services, and also serves as the Career Counselor for Accounting Specialty Programs students (PPA, CAP, MS Accy, Accounting Certificates). She has been in this role since 2008. Prior to coming to the University of Houston, Megan worked in recruiting, training, and workforce development, managing a nationwide college recruiting program, and assisting with on-boarding and succession planning. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Business with concentrations in Marketing and Business Management, and has lived in Houston since 2005.

Grace is the Finance Career Development Specialist at the Rockwell Career Center. Prior to coming to the University of Houston in June of 2023, she worked in various areas including club advising, career coaching, residence life, and admissions and financial aid at Baylor University and the University of Maryland. Grace received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University and a Master of Education in Higher Education, Student Affairs from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Chris is the Career Development Specialist for the Supply Chain Management and Management students at the Rockwell Career Center. Prior to joining Bauer, Chris worked for 4 different colleges and universities (including UH) within the field of collegiate recreation & wellness and spent a couple of years working in public recreation and non-profit recreation. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Parks Administration with a minor in Athletic Coaching from Illinois State University and a Master in Higher Education and Leadership Policy Studies from the University of Houston.

Amanda Ware is the Management Information Systems Career Development Specialist at the Rockwell Career Center in the Bauer College of Business. Amanda is the Career Development Specialist for Marketing and Entrepreneurship students at the Rockwell Career Center. Prior to her time at Bauer, Amanda has worked in various Higher Education roles as a graduate admissions counselor, graduate academic advisor, and as a graduate assistant of MBA/MPP admissions and recruitment. Zach is the Director of Experiential Learning at the C.T. Bauer College of Business’s Rockwell Career Center. He has been at the University of Houston since 2013 while previously serving as the Career Counselor for College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at University Career Services and as the Coordinator of First and Second Year Programming for Student Housing and Residential. Kelly Collins is the Director of Graduate and Alumni Career Services at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. Kelly joined the Bauer College in March 2016. Prior to coming to the University of Houston, Kelly ran the MBA Career Management Center at the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She loves helping connect students to employers, and supporting students as they achieve their career goals. Kelly grew up in Wisconsin and is happy to now call Houston her home. Associate Director, Graduate Career Counseling
Erin Reed is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor degree in Marketing. She also has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. Her professional background spans across several industries including Retail, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and now Higher Education. She began her career at Foley’s Department Stores (now Macy’s) where she was a member of the Buyer Training Program and an Account Coordinator for in-house advertising. After obtaining her MBA, she transitioned careers into Human Resources and became the Manager of Global University Relations at Cooper Industries where she led the global university recruiting and rotational programs for the company. After almost 4 years, Erin moved into an HR Manager role at Stanley Black & Decker where she was responsible for all of the HR activities at a small division of the company. Each of these roles eventually led Erin to realize her true passion for counseling students on their careers. This led Erin to join The University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business as an MBA Career Development Specialist. Within a year, she was promoted to Senior Career Development Specialist and is now Associate Director for Graduate Career Services and is responsible for developing the career skills of over 800 MBA students among a host of other responsibilities. Erin is a member of the National Black MBA Association and the MBA Career Services and Employer Alliance (MBA CSEA). She also holds the following certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-CP, The Birkman Method, Korn Ferry Voices, Leadership Architect 101, and Via Edge.

Erin Sweeney is a Senior MBA Career Development Specialist in the Rockwell Career Center at the Bauer College of Business. She holds a law degree from the UT School of Law and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from UT’s McCombs School of Business. Erin is a licensed attorney in the State of Texas.

Sr. Career Development Specialist
Helen Godfrey has been actively involved in career counseling and corporate recruitment since 1999 and has been employed at the University of Houston since 2009. She is a Sr. Career Development Specialist on the MBA/MS team at the Rockwell Career Center at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business.
Before joining the University of Houston, she worked at Florida International University for 7 years, where she held many roles within the career center, including employer relations, career counselor, and, lastly, Associate Director for the Engineering Career Center. In addition, she has been a manager, recruiter, Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa, and an English teacher in Japan with the JET Program(me).
She has her Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Oregon. She is a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), Board Certified Coach (BCC), and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas.

Lori Osborn is a Senior Career Development specialist with the Rockwell Career Center at the C.T. Bauer College of Business working with MBA/MS students. Prior to joining the Bauer College in March of 2016, Lori was the Director of Career Development and Placement with the Conrad N. Hilton College at the University of Houston. There, she had the privilege to oversee all aspects of career services including career counseling for both undergraduate and graduate students studying hotel and restaurant management as well as all employer relations and the planning and execution of all career services events. Lori has over 6 years of experience in human resources in the private sector as well as 5 plus years of experience in project management at land grant universities such as New Mexico State University and Texas A&M University. Working at both Dona Ana Community College and the Conrad N. Hilton College afforded her the opportunity to gain teaching experience as well. Lori holds an associate broker’s license in New Mexico. Her passion is working with students and coaching them in their career pursuits and developing partnerships with industry. Lori has her Master of Science in Family and Consumer Science from New Mexico State University and her Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management also from New Mexico State University.

Stacey Piefer is a Senior Career Development Specialist for graduate students at the C.T. Bauer College of Business’ Rockwell Career Center.
With more than 20 years of experience in corporate branding, marketing and business communications consulting and strategy, Stacey has shifted her focus from helping companies to helping students.
She believes career paths are like people, they are all different. After spending time volunteering, mentoring and working with Bauer undergraduate students, she discovered her true passion.
Now, she is giving back to the students attending her beloved University of Houston of which she is an alumna where she obtained her BBA in public relations and communications.
Stacey is an aspiring writer, and working on having a published work within the next five years. When she isn’t on campus or writing, you can find her reading, running, watching sports, or spending time with her dogs, family and friends.

Director of Employer Relations
Raji Aiyer is the Director of Employer Relations at the Rockwell Career Center of the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston (UH). Before joining this position, Raji managed national sales and marketing teams at Paramount Pictures, CBS Television, Showtime Networks, and WEA (a division of the Warner Music Group). She has also provided marketing and operations consulting services to non-profit organizations and start-ups.
Raji, an alumna of Bauer’s Executive MBA program, holds an M.A. in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently the advisor for the New Millennial/GenZ Community organization. Raji is passionate about connecting employers with students and faculty for experiential learning opportunities.

Assistant Director of Employer Relations
Oliver Blanco is the Assistant Director of Employer Relations at the Rockwell Career Center (RCC) with the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston (UH). Before joining the Employer Relations team, Oliver was with the RCC Graduate Career Counseling team between 2013 – 2020 and the RCC Undergraduate Career Counseling team between 2007 – 2013. Before RCC, he worked in human resources with the Houston Independent School District.
Employers collaborate with Oliver to develop strategic campus recruitment plans and connect with Bauer BBA, MBA, and MS talent. A proud UH alum, he firmly believes in strong community engagement with the Houston Food Bank, H.E.A.R.T. Program, Houston Hispanic Forum, OUT for Education, Trees for Houston, TrashBash, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Houston L.U.L.A.C. National Educational Service Centers, Inc. He is a Cougar Ally, trained to increase the safety and comfort level of LGBTQIA+ students at UH.
