Jamie Belinne
Assistant Dean

Jamie Belinne is the Assistant Dean for Career Services at the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston’s Rockwell Career Center. Prior to that she managed Recruiting and Staffing at The University of Texas at Austin. Earlier at UT, she built McCombs’ first dedicated MBA Career Services division.
She has also worked in career services at Tulane’s Freeman School of Business and at LSU. She is a founding member and Board member of the international MBA Career Services and Employers Alliance. She is the winner of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) 2012 Professional Change Maker Award for her initiatives around experiential education in large classes and the winner of the 2013 NACE Innovation Excellence Award in Diversity Programming for her e-book. She has worked with organizations around the country on inter-generational management issues and productivity improvement through leveraging diverse, interpersonal styles.
She was a member of Team USA 2009 for the ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships and Team USA 2011 for ITU Duathlon World Championships. She is an Ironman, an RRCA Certified Run Coach and a mother of two.

Career Development Curriculum Manager

Chelsea is the Career Development Curriculum Manager with the Rockwell Career Center at the C.T. Bauer College of Business. Since joining the UH System in 2013, she has gained valuable experience in student-facing roles and recruiting. In her time at the Bauer College, Chelsea has worked to create professional development opportunities for Bauer students. She is a graduate of the University of Houston-Victoria, where she earned a master’s degree in Counselor Education, and Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. Chelsea is a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Department Business Manager

Demetria Sampson is the Department Business Manager for Career Services at the C.T. Bauer College of Business – Rockwell Career Center. Demetria joined the University of Houston staff in May 2006. She also earned her BS in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Houston. Prior to joining Bauer, Demetria was a Coordinator for the UH Cullen College of Engineering – Engineering Career Center. She brings over 11 years of experience in customer service, employee relations, and business operations to the Bauer team.
Troy Hopkins
Director, Undergraduate Career Counseling

Troy Hopkins, JD, PHR, SHRM-CP is the Director of Undergraduate Career Counseling at the Rockwell Career Center. Troy has been with the Bauer College since 2006 and the University of Houston since 2003. Troy has worked at Texas universities since 1997, starting at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. Troy earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston while working full time at the Bauer College. Troy has earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM-CP certifications and is a member of the Texas State Bar.

Megan Bauml
Assistant Director, Undergraduate Career Services

Megan is the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Career Services, and also serves as the Career Counselor for Accounting Specialty Programs students (PPA, CAP, MS Accy, Accounting Certificates). She has been in this role since 2008. Prior to coming to the University of Houston, Megan worked in recruiting, training, and workforce development, managing a nationwide college recruiting program, and assisting with on-boarding and succession planning. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Business with concentrations in Marketing and Business Management, and has lived in Houston since 2005.

Amanda Ware is the Finance and Management Information Systems Career Development Specialist at the Rockwell Career Center in the Bauer College of Business. Senior Director of Graduate and Alumni Career Services

Kelly Collins is the Senior Director of Graduate and Alumni Career Services at the CT Bauer College of Business. Kelly joined the Bauer College in March 2016. Prior to coming to the University of Houston, Kelly ran the MBA Career Management Center at the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She loves helping connect students to employers, and supporting students as they achieve their career goals. Kelly grew up in Wisconsin and is happy to now call Houston her home. She’s lived in Los Angeles, Chicago and Salt Lake City; loves to be outdoors and has a soft spot for dogs.

Erin Reed
Associate Director, Graduate Career Counseling

Erin Reed is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor degree in Marketing. She also has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. Her professional background spans across several industries including Retail, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and now Higher Education. She began her career at Foley’s Department Stores (now Macy’s) where she was a member of the Buyer Training Program and an Account Coordinator for in-house advertising. After obtaining her MBA, she transitioned careers into Human Resources and became the Manager of Global University Relations at Cooper Industries where she led the global university recruiting and rotational programs for the company. After almost 4 years, Erin moved into an HR Manager role at Stanley Black & Decker where she was responsible for all of the HR activities at a small division of the company. Each of these roles eventually led Erin to realize her true passion for counseling students on their careers. This led Erin to join The University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business as an MBA Career Development Specialist. Within a year, she was promoted to Senior Career Development Specialist and is now Associate Director for Graduate Career Services and is responsible for developing the career skills of over 800 MBA students among a host of other responsibilities. Erin is a member of the National Black MBA Association and the MBA Career Services and Employer Alliance (MBA CSEA). She also holds the following certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-CP, The Birkman Method, Korn Ferry Voices, Leadership Architect 101, and Via Edge.

Erin Sweeney is a Senior MBA Career Development Specialist in the Rockwell Career Center at the Bauer College of Business. Prior to joining the University of Houston, Erin worked for the University of Texas School of Law as a career advisor and director for the law school’s Judicial Clerkship Program. She holds a law degree from the UT School of Law and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from UT’s McCombs School of Business. Erin is a licensed attorney in the State of Texas.

Lori Osborn
Sr. Career Development Specialist

Lori Osborn is a Senior Career Development specialist with the Rockwell Career Center at the C.T. Bauer College of Business working with MBA/MS students. Prior to joining the Bauer College in March of 2016, Lori was the Director of Career Development and Placement with the Conrad N. Hilton College at the University of Houston. There, she had the privilege to oversee all aspects of career services including career counseling for both undergraduate and graduate students studying hotel and restaurant management as well as all employer relations and the planning and execution of all career services events. Lori has over 6 years of experience in human resources in the private sector as well as 5 plus years of experience in project management at land grant universities such as New Mexico State University and Texas A&M University. Working at both Dona Ana Community College and the Conrad N. Hilton College afforded her the opportunity to gain teaching experience as well. Lori holds an associate broker’s license in New Mexico. Her passion is working with students and coaching them in their career pursuits and developing partnerships with industry. Lori has her Master of Science in Family and Consumer Science from New Mexico State University and her Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management also from New Mexico State University.

Director of Employer Relations

Raji Aiyer is the Director of Employer Relations at the Rockwell Career Center with the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston (UH). Previous to joining this role, Raji worked managing national sales and marketing teams with Paramount Pictures, CBS Television, Showtime Networks, and WEA, a division of the Warner Music Group. She has also consulted with non-profits and start-ups with marketing and operations.
Raji is a proud alumna of Bauer’s Executive MBA program. She also has an M.A. in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin. She currently serves as the adviser for the New Millenial/GenZ Community organization. Oliver Blanco
Assistant Director of Employer Relations

Oliver Blanco is the Assistant Director of Employer Relations at the Rockwell Career Center with the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston (UH). Previous to joining the Employer Relations team, Oliver was with the Graduate/Alumni Career Counseling team between 2013-20 and with the BBA Career Counseling team between 2007-13. Before the Rockwell Career Center, he worked in human resources with the Houston Independent School District (HISD), the largest school district in Texas and the eighth-largest in the nation.
Collaborate with Oliver to develop strategic campus recruitment plans, then connect with Bauer MBA, MS, and BBA talent. A proud UH alum, Oliver believes in strong community engagement. He has volunteered with the H.E.A.R.T. Program, Houston Hispanic Forum, OUT for Education, Trees for Houston, Houston Food Bank, TrashBash, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Houston LULAC National Educational Service Centers, Inc. Jeremy Warren
Recruiting Manager

Jeremy Warren is a Recruiting Manager at the Rockwell Career Center with the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston (UH). Prior to joining the Employer Relations team, Jeremy worked as the Rockwell Career Center Business Manager 2013-2017 and has been a staff member at Bauer College since 2007. Previous to his career with Bauer College, Jeremy worked in the Legal / Government and Non-Profit Industries.
Jeremy currently serves as the adviser for Alpha Kappa Psi, Tau Psi Chapter UH (2014 – Present) and enjoys coaching and consulting other student organizations as well. He is a member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers, Society for Human Resource Management, and HR Houston. Jeremy really enjoys spending time with his kids as well as volunteering with them at the Montgomery County Food Bank, Houston Star of Hope, and many other family-oriented non-profits.
