Jamie Belinne is the Assistant Dean for Career Services at the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston’s Rockwell Career Center. Prior to that she managed Recruiting and Staffing at The University of Texas at Austin. Earlier at UT, she built McCombs’ first dedicated MBA Career Services division.
She has also worked in career services at Tulane’s Freeman School of Business and at LSU. She is a founding member and Board member of the international MBA Career Services and Employers Alliance. She is the winner of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) 2012 Professional Change Maker Award for her initiatives around experiential education in large classes and the winner of the 2013 NACE Innovation Excellence Award in Diversity Programming for her e-book. She has worked with organizations around the country on inter-generational management issues and productivity improvement through leveraging diverse, interpersonal styles.
She was a member of Team USA 2009 for the ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships and Team USA 2011 for ITU Duathlon World Championships. She is an Ironman, an RRCA Certified Run Coach and a mother of two.

Director, Undergraduate Career Counseling
Troy Hopkins, JD, PHR is the Director of Undergraduate Career Counseling at the Rockwell Career Center. Troy has been with the Bauer College since 2006 and the University of Houston since 2003. Troy has worked at Texas universities since 1997, starting at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. Troy earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston while working full time at the Bauer College. Troy has a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and is a member of the Texas State Bar.
Assistant Director, Undergraduate Career Services
Megan is the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Career Services, and also serves as the Career Counselor for Accounting Specialty Programs students (PPA, CAP, MS Accy, Accounting Certificates). She has been in this role since 2008. Prior to coming to the University of Houston, Megan worked in recruiting, training, and workforce development, managing a nationwide college recruiting program, and assisting with on-boarding and succession planning. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Business with concentrations in Marketing and Business Management, and has lived in Houston since 2005.

Amanda Ware is the Finance and Management Information Systems Career Development Specialist at the Rockwell Career Center in the Bauer College of Business. Amanda has worked in higher education since 2007 in multiple roles including Career Counselor, Academic Advisor, and Administrative Assistant. Amanda received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edwards University.

Career Development Specialist
Lori Osborn is a career development specialist with the Rockwell Career Center at the CT Bauer College of Business working with undergraduate management and supply chain management majors. Prior to joining the Bauer College in March of 2016, Lori was the director of Career Development and Placement with the Conrad N. Hilton College at the University of Houston. There, she had the privilege to oversee all aspects of career services including career counseling for both undergraduate and graduate students studying hotel and restaurant management as well as all employer relations and the planning and execution of all career services events. Lori has over 6 years of experience in human resources in the private sector as well 5 plus years of experience in project management at land grant universities such as New Mexico State University and Texas A&M University. Working at both Dona Ana Community College and the Conrad N. Hilton College afforded her the opportunity to gain teaching experience as well. Lori holds an associate broker’s license in New Mexico. Her passion is working with students and coaching them in their career pursuits and developing partnerships with industry. Lori has her Master of Science in Family and Consumer Science from New Mexico State University and her Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management also from New Mexico State University.

Senior Director of Graduate and Alumni Career Services
Kelly Collins is the Director of Graduate and Alumni Career Services at the CT Bauer College of Business. Kelly joined the Bauer College in March 2016. Prior to coming to the University of Houston, Kelly ran the MBA Career Management Center at the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She loves helping connect students to employers, and supporting students as they achieve their career goals. Kelly grew up in Wisconsin and is happy to now call Houston her home. She’s lived in Los Angeles, Chicago and Salt Lake City; loves to be outdoors and has a soft spot for dogs.
Associate Director, Graduate Career Counseling
Erin Reed is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor degree in Marketing. She also has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. Her professional background spans across several industries including Retail, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and now Higher Education. She began her career at Foley’s Department Stores (now Macy’s) where she was a member of the Buyer Training Program and an Account Coordinator for in-house advertising. After obtaining her MBA, she transitioned careers into Human Resources and became the Manager of Global University Relations at Cooper Industries where she led the global university recruiting and rotational programs for the company. After almost 4 years, Erin moved into an HR Manager role at Stanley Black & Decker where she was responsible for all of the HR activities at a small division of the company. Each of these roles eventually led Erin to realize her true passion for counseling students on their careers. This led Erin to join The University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business as an MBA Career Development Specialist. Within a year, she was promoted to Senior Career Development Specialist and is now Associate Director for Graduate Career Services and is responsible for developing the career skills of over 800 MBA students among a host of other responsibilities. Erin is a member of the National Black MBA Association and the MBA Career Services and Employer Alliance (MBA CSEA). She also holds the following certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-CP, The Birkman Method, Korn Ferry Voices, Leadership Architect 101, and Via Edge.
Sr. Career Development Specialist
Actively involved in career counseling and corporate recruitment fields since 1999. Employed with the University of Houston/Central since July 2009.Currently serve as a Senior Career Development Specialist and Business Alumni Counselor at Rockwell Career Center at the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business. Served as the Associate Director of University Career Services/Central at the University of Houston for 3 years. Prior experience includes serving as the Associate Director/Career Services/Engineering at Florida International University. Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Oregon. National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), Board Certified Coach (BCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas.
Patricia Owens is a Senior MBA Career Development Specialist in the Rockwell Career Center at the Bauer College of Business. Prior to joining the University of Houston, Patricia earned a Business degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge and worked as a Certified Public Accountant both in public accounting and private industry. Patricia became interested in supporting people in career decisions and transitions and returned to school to get a Masters in Counseling. She is now a Licensed Professional Counselor and is happy to join the University of Houston, Rockwell Career Center where she can utilize both her Business and Counseling backgrounds to help develop the career skills of MBA students.
Sr. Career Development Specialist
Oliver Blanco is a Senior MBA Career Development Specialist at the Rockwell Career Center with the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston (UH). Previously to joining the Graduate/Alumni Career Counseling team, Oliver was with the BBA Career Counseling team between 2007-13. Prior to the Rockwell Career Center, he worked in human resources with the Houston Independent School District (HISD), the largest school district in Texas, and seventh largest in the nation. Oliver is a member of the MBA Career Services & Employer Alliance (MBACSEA), Prospanica (formerly known as the National Society of Hispanic MBAs or NSHMBA), the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). He advises Full-Time/Professional MBAs, MS SCM, and MS MKT Bauer students. Oliver graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts. Go Coogs! He has completed The Birkman Method Certification, Korn/Ferry Certifications (Leadership Architect 101, Voices 360, viaEDGE), NACE Career Coaching Intensive, Gallup’s StrengthsQuest Strength Advocate Certification and the SoACE Emerging Leader Career Services Certification. Oliver believes in strong community engagement. He has volunteered with The H.E.A.R.T. Program, Houston Hispanic Forum, OUT for Education, UH LGBTQ Resource Center, The Houston Food Bank, TrashBash, The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and LULAC National Service Center in Houston. Oliver enjoys helping with student organizations within UH, and is also a Cougar Ally to increase the safety and comfort level for LGBTQ students at UH.
