We are currently seeking to fill an opening for Technical Sales Representative. This is a full-time position, that includes employer sponsored: 401K, PTO, dental, medical, and vision insurance coverage. We encourage former or upcoming graduates to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Find new clients and opportunities for the business while continuing existing customer relationships.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, identify solutions, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and/or services
- Follow up on pending quotes in order to receive timely feedback. Sustain open channels of communication throughout the sales process
- Maintain log of all calls and visits made to current and potential customers
- Draft and prepare proposals, including specification, layout, and costing of equipment.
- Receive, process, and confirm purchase orders in a timely manner
- Create and maintain customer files containing all relevant information on the customer
- Work with internal resources to accurately and promptly answer questions
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to exchange information such as selling and marketing strategies.
- Maintain confidentiality of business processes, proprietary information, and customer communications
- Perform other duties as necessary or directed
- Some travel required (5-10%)
