Chegg Skills/Thinkful is a new type of school that brings high-growth tech careers to ambitious people everywhere. We provide 1-on-1 learning through our network of industry experts, hiring partners, and online platform to deliver a structured and flexible education to help upskill and reskill the workforce. We offer programs in tech and tech adjacent fields, such as AI, cybersecurity, web development, data science, data analytics, UX design, and project management, as well as power skills and leadership disciplines like sales and frontline management.
Scope of work
As a Product Marketing Intern at Chegg Skills, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our dynamic and innovative Direct to Consumer team on our go to market strategy for a Skills product for college students. You will contribute to various marketing initiatives, gain hands-on experience with product launches and GTM strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and adoption of our education technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to develop compelling messaging and positioning for Chegg’s Skills portfolio of products for college students.

Conduct market research to analyze competitors, target audience, and industry trends, providing insights to inform marketing strategies.

Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product adoption.

Develop and create marketing collateral such as product presentations, sales sheets, and case studies to support sales and marketing efforts.

Conduct customer surveys and interviews to gather feedback on product usage, identify areas for improvement, and inform product roadmap decisions.

Analyze marketing campaign performance data to measure the effectiveness of various marketing initiatives and provide insights for optimization.
Experience:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software and tools.

Basic knowledge of marketing principles, market research techniques, and product development

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Desire to learn and passion for education technology.

Previous marketing or internship experience is a plus.
