This position is based in our Irvine, California Corporate Headquarters with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule.
As a Sr. Product Manager for product recommendations, you are responsible for the ideation, development, launch, and optimization of our current, and future product recommendation experiences on the Ingram Micro Xvantage™ platform. You have a deep understanding of recommendation frameworks, AI/ML models, and the overall experience a recommendation should deliver. Understanding different recommendation levers and tradeoffs will be key to delivering outcomes in this role. You will partner closely with a team of data scientists to process and interpret large datasets to uncover insights about customer cohorts, and their purchase behaviors. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to clearly define a problem statement, deliver a product vision, prioritize initiatives informed by data, drive execution, and champion the change management adoption plans with our partners.
The Sr. Product Manager, Product Recommendations for Ingram Micro’s Global Platform Team will be a key leader on the Insights & Recommendations Team. This candidate will be responsible for:

Setting a product vision and strategy that aligns with company, organization, and team level objectives.

Developing and executing the product roadmap for product recommendations. This includes new and enhanced recommendation models and front-end development for new user experiences.

Continuously monitor and improve recommendation quality to drive higher attach and conversion rates on Ingram Micro Xvantage™.

Partnering with data science teams to prioritize recommendation model enhancements based on data deep dives.

Serving as SME to the global business community to validate that the features and models are solving their business and customer needs, and that features are easy to understand.

Owning the excellence of your product(s) – be scrappy, solve problems, and take an entrepreneurial approach to deliver against business outcomes.

Defining, monitoring, and analyzing product and business metrics, and feeding learnings back into the product and model development process.
What you bring to the role:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, science, and a related technical emphasis is required. Preferred: an MBA (or equivalent) from a top-tier institution, or equivalent (12 years) business experience.

5+ years of experience leading a growth product, AI/ML product preferred.

Experience working with go-to-market teams to drive adoption of products across customers & internal associates.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets.

Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence without authority.

Understanding and experience in compliance with data privacy and security laws and regulations.

Direct hands-on experience working with Engineering teams to clearly scope, define, detail, and prioritize product requirements.

Experience developing and launching successful software products.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills (verbal and written). Should be comfortable presenting to executive staff, key stakeholders, and large teams.

Passion for quality and commitment to creating engaging, intuitive experiences.

Ability to work with remote partners and team members via online tools across different time zones.
Position may require occasional travel, including international travel.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $121,400.00 – $206,400.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
