About The Role
We are looking for current students to join Uber as Marketing and Operations Interns on the UberEats team for Summer 2024 (12 weeks)!
In this role, you will identify areas of opportunity, determine prioritization, and ensure alignment across the broader Uber Eats team in Los Angeles to implement the strategy you will help build.
What You’ll Do
- Prioritize our in-app marketing activations to offer always more memorable moments to order on Uber Eats
- Implement data analysis and generate insights from quantitative and qualitative research
- Collaborate with Uber teams across the region
What You’ll Need
- Project Management: Ability to orchestrate a team to unite members in pursuit of a singular goal, ensuring seamless execution within designated timelines.
- Storyteller – Ability to craft a story out of very few as well as many data points. You can interpret complex information and teach it to anyone.
- Strategic Marketing: you can create persuasive narratives and think about deploying targeted campaigns to engage and captivate audiences
- Love for quality presentations – You believe every presentation is an opportunity to share valuable insights. You pride yourself on making quality presentations and you are more than happy to help your teammates do the same.
- Attention to detail – you are not afraid to get into the weeds of a problem and can complete a task thoroughly, no matter how big or small
- Grit and perseverance – You’re passionate about a challenge and push yourself to persevere when others back away.
Basic Qualifications
- Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled as a bachelor in Business, Communications, Marketing, Economics, or any relevant field with an anticipated graduation between December 2024 and December 2025
- Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Uber does not intend to sponsor work visas with respect to this position or to provide this position as F-1, OPT or CPT
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in productivity tools (email, calendar), Google Suite
- Previous internship experience in consulting or digital marketing industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as partner management, consensus building and project management
- Strong analytical skills, excellent time-management and organization
About the Team
We are responsible for growing the Uber Eats in Los Angeles through new eater acquisition and improving engagement and retention of our active eater base. The team works cross functionally with Postmates and cross-functional Uber Eats teams, including marketing, finance, account management and product teams, to build and complete strategic operational initiatives to drive Uber Eats growth.

For Los Angeles, CA-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD$27.00 per hour.
